Shortly after beginning his real estate career, Chris Hansen asked a seasoned real estate agent who was about to retire for some good advice.
 
The veteran said, “Imagine that you are the one trying to buy or sell a home. What would you want in the person who is helping with one of the most important transactions of your life? Just be that real estate agent, and all will be well.”
 
For Chris, these attributes were: Honesty. Impartiality. Reliability. Experience. Leading-edge professional knowledge. And a big-picture, low-time preference mindset.
 
And, after a little more reflection, he also realized that he’d appreciate an agent who could help make the sometimes stressful real estate process a little bit of fun along the way.
 
Chris has succeeded in delivering these qualities since becoming a full-time real estate advisor in 2017. Mostly driven by repeat clients and referrals, Chris’ network of satisfied home buyers and sellers has benefitted from his extensive knowledge of the Greater Charlotte area, his keen understanding of trends in real estate and finance, his unwavering service, and his genuine desire to leave clients better off at the closing table than they were at the initial meeting.
 
After 6-years with Coldwell Banker Realty, Chris is thrilled to offer his clients the Gold House Properties personalized experience. Prior to residential real estate, Chris spent a decade as founder/owner of Salon Concepts, one of the first salon suite leasing enterprises in the U.S. He holds degrees from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and Columbia University.
